A Message from Mayor Barbara Donno,
Whether you are a resident of our beautiful Village, or a visitor from near or far, I welcome you to the official website of the Village of Plandome Manor. Perhaps the most outstanding feature of our Village is its truly special location. Our 275 homes are found among a Nassau County nature preserve, Leeds Pond, a country club golf course and Manhasset’s most beautiful waterfront. In addition to all this beauty and our diverse rural character, we are only a 30-minute train ride or drive from mid-town Manhattan. We really do have the best of everything!
I hope you find this website helpful and informative. We will post tentative agendas of our various Village Boards and other useful information and “Village happenings” to try to keep everyone informed. Please feel free to email you Village representatives by using the clerk@plandomemanorny.gov email address. We intend to soon add a link so you can access the entire Village Code. But that will take a few months simply because of the volume of information. In the meantime, if you have any suggestions to make this website better, please send them along.

Commercial Work Hours:
Landscaping:
Any type of landscaping between 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. weekdays and 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturdays is permitted. Any type of landscaping is prohibited on Sundays and federal holidays.
Construction:
Any type of construction, excavation, ,demolition, alteration or repair is permitted between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on weekdays, 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. on Saturdays; and until 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays for alterations and repairs being done entirely INDOORS of a building when the noise resulting from such action is not audible outside the building in which such work is being performed; and except in cases of urgent necessity in the interest of public safety. Any type of construction is prohibited on Sundays and federal holidays.
The Verizon franchise agreement has been approved by the Public Service Commission.
Verizon may now begin offering services in Plandome Manor.
