The Village Election will be held on Wednesday, March 18th, 2026 at Village Hall: 55 Manhasset Avenue,  Manhasset, NY 11030.

Polls will open at 12noon and close at 9pm.

Absentee & Early Mail Voting


Absentee Ballots

Who Can Apply:

You may apply for an absentee ballot if you will be:

  • Absent from the county for all hours the polls are open (vacation, school, or business travel)
  • Unable to appear at the polls due to illness or disability
  • Permanently disabled
  • Providing primary care for someone who is ill or physically disabled
  • A military voter or in military service
  • A student living away from home
  • Incarcerated or detained in jail awaiting trial

 

Apply:
Applying in person (applicant or agent):

The Village Clerk may receive personal applications from the voter or the voter’s agent through Tuesday, March 17, 2026 (the day before the election).

Upon receiving a personal application, the absentee ballot will be delivered directly to the applicant or the agent named in the application.

To receive your ballot by mail:

Your application must be received by the Village Clerk no later than Tuesday, March 10, 2026.

Applications must be received by this date to have a ballot mailed. Voters who miss the mailing deadline may apply in person through March 17, 2026 and will be issued a ballot directly.

 

Signature Requirement

Applications must be the original signed application (wet signature required).
Copies, scans, or electronic signatures cannot be accepted.

 

*Return Your Ballot:

Completed absentee ballots must be received by the Village Clerk by the close of polls on Election Day, Wednesday, March 18, 2026.

 


Early Mail Ballots

Who Can Apply:

Any qualified voter who prefers to vote early by mail instead of voting in person on Election Day may apply.

Applying in person (applicant or agent):

The Village Clerk may receive personal applications from the voter or the voter’s agent through Tuesday, March 17, 2026 (the day before the election).

Upon receiving a personal application, the early mail ballot will be delivered directly to the applicant or the agent named in the application, provided the applicant is qualified to vote in the election.
